La Rochelle, Harbour area - Ring La Pallice

These Sk-bunkers are 'the main bunkers' of the Festung La Rochelle U-boot base. You can see the Sk bunkers from all sides. The 621 stands at the crossing of Rue de Quebec and Av. Jean Guiton.

La Rochelle, Harbour area - Ring La Pallice
AOK 1, KVA D, Festung La Rochelle, KVU Süd, KVGr Süd La Rochelle, Ring La Palilice - Rue de Madagascar.

We found an unknown bunker in the Rue de Madagascar on a terrain of the Conseil General de La Charente-Maritime-Direction Exploitation des Ponts.
If some one knows more about this bunker, please let us know.

Drive over the Boulevard Emile Dalmas and you can see the bunkers standing on the closed harbour area.

At the then end of the harbour area, outside the closed part 'was ' Camp le Jeumont along the Chemin de Duinkerque. This location was probably chosen because of the good infra structure of roads, close to the U-boot harbour/bunker and directly next to the railway track for a good supply line.
Now a days it is all open en 2 of the 3 Sk torpedo storage bunkers have been demolished already.
